3 things wealthy people do differently

I’m here to tell you the three things wealthy business owners do differently. 

Successful entrepreneurs can sometimes appear larger than life to us. Comparatively, they’ve achieved so much, made so much money, built so many businesses, inspired so many people. 

There must be something really special about them, right. It’s easy to believe they all share common characteristics, and they do to an extent. 

They have confidence. They are usually strong communicators. They are systems driven and generally maintain an optimistic outlook.

They can differ quite a bit too. 

Some are introverted – think Bill Gates

Some are extroverted – think Steve Jobs

And their political views can also differ substantially, as can their fashion sense.

So, if there isn’t one prime example of how a successful entrepreneur looks, how can we shape ourselves to be more like them? 

Here’s where the three things come in. What three things do they DO that are different to other business owners. Notice I said what they do, not who they are. 

Because if we focus on what they do, rather than who they are, it becomes easier to emulate them, not matter what our personality type or fashion sense is. 

Just three things: 

One – they read business books – successful entrepreneurs have an ongoing passion for learning. They read books. They listen to podcasts or watch videos to build on their knowledge. They understand the value of leveraging other people’s smart ideas and using them in their businesses. 

Two – they find and create peer groups for themselves to act almost like a board of directors to hold themselves accountable and gain an outside perspective when they’re stuck. Many business owners find these peer groups become lifelines as they navigate big decisions in their businesses and personal lives.  

Three – they ask questions. They have a natural curiosity and never stop asking questions and gathering the answers to feed their minds. They nurture a growth mindset.
