Our Top Recommended Resources to Positively Impact your Business

Books to impact your business:

  • They Ask, You Answer by Marcus Sheridon – Marcus saved his swimming pool company, Rivers and Spas, from the brink of collapse during the economic recession of 2008 and ultimately became the most trafficked swimming pool website in the world. • Atomic Habits by James Clear – If you are looking to make big changes in your life but aren’t sure how to start, Atomic Habits will reassure you that it’s the little changes that have the most impact. It’s packed with tips and inspiring stories, guaranteed to motivate you to take the first step towards life-altering change.
  • The Emyth by Michael E Gerber – A must-read for any entrepreneur or small business owner, this book dispels the myths around starting your own business and explains how assumptions and expectations can hamper our ability to launch and build a successful business.

Podcasts to impact your business:

  • The High-Performance podcast with Damien Hughes and Jake Humphrey – On The High-Performance Podcast Hughes and Humphrey take a look at the non-negotiable behaviours their high-performing guests harnessed to get them to the top and keep them there. • Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett – In his own words, “Steven sits down with some of the world’s most influential people, experts and thinkers and embarks on a curiosity-driven journey to discover untold truths, unlearned lessons and important insights that will make his, and the audiences lives more enjoyable, more successful and more fulfilled”. And we agree. Some episodes are short clips too, so easy to fit into your day.
  • Entrepreneurs on Fire – Founded and hosted by John Lee Dumas, this series was created specifically for small business owners and aims to provide ‘actionable advice’ mined from Dumas’s interviews with successful entrepreneurs. Over 3 000 such entrepreneurs have already been featured, so it offers great value to the listeners.
