Not all marketing is digital.
It’s so easy in this digital age to focus too much of our marketing attention on our online activities. Social media, websites, google ads. The list goes on.
But if your online marketing activities are not delivering the results, then maybe it’s time to go old school.
Old school options can be cool AND work just as effectively as digital marketing if implemented well:
- Brochures that showcase your products or services
- Case studies highlighting success stories
- Attention grabbing direct mail – make it stand out with a funky insert to get the conversation going when you make any follow up calls
- Attending Networking events is great for building contacts and referrals, and
- Giving back to your customers through a loyalty programmes keep your customers returning for more
While digital marketing has a big part to play in your marketing strategy but it’s not the be all and end all of marketing.
So my tip of the day is to have a broader marketing plan in place and experiment with a few strategies. Remember to test and measure every campaign and adapt it for what works and what doesn’t.
Because marketing without a plan is just noise. And that’s not cool.
